Q. We have a new computer. I don't see Adobe Digital but Adobe Reader. Are those the same thing?

The two programs listed, Adobe Digital Editions and Adobe Reader are not the same.  Adobe Reader is a program that only reads file formats known as PDFs.  Adobe Digital Editions, or ADE, reads ebook file formats known as ePub and also reads PDFs.  ADE is a program that usually does not come with new computers, it needs to be downloaded separately.
