We do accept donations at the library. We ask that items be in good condition and less than 10 years old and that you limit your donation to 1 box total.

 

We will not take the following:

 

Poor condition books

Broken spine

Ripped/torn cover

Moldy/other damaged

Dirty

Excesive markings or writing

Periodicals (magazines)

Academic Journals

Directories

  1. This tells me what you take and don't take but the questions is "How do I donate items?" So I have nice books that can be donated and need to know how/where to take those books.

  2. Bring the books to your local library counter and they will provide you with a receipt for donation.

  3. Tanya - you are correct. Just take the books to the Ask Here desk and a library staff member will assist you.
