Q. Can I request a book without a library card?

Without a High Plains Library District Card, no requests can be made.  In order to request an item you will need to either come into a library and fill out a New Borrower form or get a Virtual Card (click on new user).

If you get a Virtual Card, please be aware that Virtual Cards are only good for 30 days. You will need to come into one of the libraries to change your Virtual Card into a real card.
